| The easiest way to avoid a conviction
is not commit a crime in the first place. |
Everybody makes mistakes. Some of us make big ones, and we find ourselves
on the wrong side of the Law.
There is a lot of discussion these days about the appropriateness of the
criminal justice system: are crimes punished enough, quickly enough; do the
guilty go free?
As a Lawyer we have social conscience concerns. But when wechoose
to represent a criminal client, we try to remember three things:
-
We give our clients the benefit of the doubt. If they claim innocence, webelieve
them until proven wrong.
-
As lawyers we have an ethical duty to represent the client as well
as possible.
-
The justice of the whole Criminal system demands that each defendant have
his or rights upheld.
-
We hope the client learns from the experience, and mends his wicked
ways.
As a Client you only have one concern:
STAY OUT OF JAIL!
So we will do everything we can to help you establish your innocence, or
minimize the consequences if not.
