  • Date and Location: Central Grange, 7001 Bigelow Gulch Road.

    Directions from Spokane: Take Francis headed east. East of Market Street, Francis becomes Bigelow Gulch Road. The Central Grange is about 3 miles east of the intersection of Market and Francis, on the northeast corner of Bigelow Gulch Road and Espe Road.

    CAUTION: Eastbound, you must turn across oncoming traffic to get into the Grange parking lot. Oncoming traffic comes at you around a curve, down a hill, and FAST.

  • Admission:: $20.00/single, $40.00/couple, and $45/family.
    • Tickets available at the door.
    • All are welcome; you need not be a reenactor to participate.
  • Attire: Period dress, or modern semi-formal or evening wear.
  • Activities: Contra dances, square dances, and waltzes to live music.
    • Doors open at 5.
    • Buffet dinner at 6.
    • Dancing begins at 7.
  • Refreshments:
    • Bring one main dish, and one side dish or dessert, plus serving utensils.
    • Bring your own plates, eating utensils, and napkins.
    • Be prepared to take your own trash home with you. We can't leave trash in the grange.
    • This is a no-alcohol event.

Need to practice before the event? The good folks over at the Spokane Folklore Society hold a weekly contra dance on Wednesday evening at the Spokane Women's Club, 9th & Walnut.
