Windows 95 applications can be launced from a DOS window by simply typing the application name. There are a few other tricks, although I am not sure how useful they are. For instance, you can display a graphical view of a directory by entering "start [path]" which would show you a folder view. For an Explorer view you would type "explorer [path]." To display a graphical view of the current directory, simply type "explorer."
