this map shows the general location of the Tatshenshini River. It's source is in the SW Yukon, and then it flows south and west through British Columbia and Alaska, through the heart of the Saint Elias Mountains. The river trip starts in Kluane NP, through Tatshenshini Park in British Columbia, and ending up in the northernmost portion of Glacier Bay NP in Alaska. These parks together encompass a World Heritage Park, which includes the largest, southernmost non-arctic ice cap in the world.
