Nine boats, count'em, up on a cut bank. What you can't see is that we had to pull them up 8' of steep bank as there was not much of an eddy. One of the hazards on this river is severe water level fluctuation due to things like ice dams breaking upstream and massive amounts of water suddenly being released, which can rip your boats away.
