HOW TO TEACH YOUNG MALES

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A MAN

We have had the Million Man March in Washington D.C. and the African American Man's Youth Empowerment Breakfast. Now what? We have used the term "Man" rather loosely at times. I thought the first thing we might do is to define our terms. After we come up with more precise definitions, it might be easier to get a grip on where we might go from here. I have given some thought to what it means to be a man and would like a dialogue or discussion on the topic with other African American men. I thought this outline might help to guide our thoughts and the discussion. It might also identify areas in which young males may need help to gain empowerment. If this makes any sense to you, please print and fill out this questionnaire and slow mail it to me. If your wish to comment email me at:
