Laura's grandpa is one of the best-known, and most highly-praised gunsmiths in Spokane. He doesn't do it for a living, in fact, he's not "officially" a gunsmith. However, chances are, if you have an antique gun, and it was fixed in Spokane, Grandpa probably did the work, especially if a new part had to be manufactured.

Grandpa and I get along amazingly well, and he's taken me under his wing, teaching me basic gunsmithing. We've done a few trigger jobs, glass-bedded my .300 Win Mag, and numerous other small jobs. I'm amazed at how much I've learned, but even more at how much I'll probably never know that Grandpa takes for granted.
